First Strike Mod - The Jawa Sandcrawler
First Strike posted four screenshots of the final version of the Jawa Sandcrawler.

We are going to try to be a little more regular with our news updates from now on as we start to move forwards again with more momentum towards our next batch of big releases.

Today I want to reveal to you the final finished version of the Jawa Sandcrawler. Sure, you've seen the impressive untextured version of this model in the past, but I think you'll agree the texture and last little bits of polish and additional bells and whistles make all the difference.

The caterpillar tracks have been much improved with additional geometry and texture detailing which will really make them pop out at you when you see them in game. Also the detailing of the interior is now complete, and these images show you just a tantalising glimpse of what is inside. Rest assured you're going to have plenty of fun with this towering behemoth, the tactical applications are limitless, you've basically got a slow moving, but heavily armoured siege tower. First Strike Mod - Jundland Wastes Preview
First Strike posted a preview of a new map today called Jundland Wastes. Also released is a new video.

We proudly present more news from...Jundland Wastes.

A return to Tatooine was hard to resist, but we promise, this will be the final time we wage war this far from the bright center of the universe. We just couldn't say goodbye to this famous locale without ensuring we brought you every last tidbit we could think of, direct from the movies. In Jundland Wastes, you'll find many familiar names, vehicles and places, so be sure to visit them all when it is released this winter!

We've shown you the Imperial ATPT previously, but never fully given a breakdown on how it works in tandem with existing assets in the First Strike universe. So, here's a brief tip to get you ready to jump into the fight: On Jundland Wastes, these vehicles may be found patrolling the vast desert expanse, but these Impeial wardogs can be easily thwarted by dedicated Rebel soldiers. However, Rebels beware, unlike their bigger brother, the ATST, these miniature walkers have no problems negotiating tough terrain and entering into urban warfare. Read the rest...
