Every time I play despite the fact that my ping is 15-30 most of the time I will get bad scope lag and terrible hitreg. I've had these problems since the demo back in '05 but I've always felt there was nothing I could do. My rig is an i7 920 @ 3.8ghz, 6GB RAM, and SLi 285GTXs.
Whenever I zoom in the scope will skip making any quick shots almost impossible unless the person stands still. Tons of times the scope will just do the good old zoom back out bit. My hitreg is pathetic even against targets that stand still too. I can't even dream of trying to learn to do dragshots like this. In all of those sniper videos they don't seem to be affected by scope lag and poor hitreg lol
Is there any console command to measure things like choke and packet loss? I'm getting desperate and I'm about to try the placebo hitbox fixer.
