Intel Dual core T9550
6g RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3670
Enough HDD

Now, it should be able to play TF2 and L4D fine, but for some reason it doesn't. I'm tired of trying to fix it, but long story short: It works fine until I get into CQC and then it's terrible and I die.

I've got a wireless mouse+USB that work okay (for FPS etc) but no real optimal place to sit for them. I can do okay at a table or whatnot. I would be playing when I'm back at the house and have no access to a PC, but still have internet etc.

ATM I've got: Assassin's Creed/TF2/L4D/CSS/Half Lifes/Portal/E:TW/Fallout/Plants v Zombies. I've also got eve online which is a decent option, but not always keeping my interest.

I'm looking for: anything to keep my interest. Must be playable on the specs given. Cheap is appreciated, and a handful of very cheap suggestions would be great. Plants v Zombies was nice at first but isn't really holding my attention (repetitive..). It doesn't need to have the graphics of crysis or even be from this decade. I don't want to spend a fortune.

fake edit: Yes I had a similar thread a while ago, but qualifications have changed immensely.

My PC is moved to my apartment, so I'm using my laptop at the house.

Hes referring to the fact that both are giant time sinks.  meaning you'll spend tons of time playing them instead of working.  X3 is an amazing game, but has a fairly steep learning curve.

This. I just finished MassEffect after around 40 hours of play. And I just started X3. It´s epic. The first few hours are annoying though, cause you have to follow the shitty campaign.lol.
But after that, it can cost you your job, wife and dog. I played the first two so the learning curve isn´t that steep for me, but still. Once you got your first own transport and shortly after that your first own factory, you can say goodby to your rl. Especially since you can build mega-complexes in x3, consisting of several factories, even whole production cycles
