That will be the true test. Looks like it handles like a dream, compared to the pig of a fighter in EF. I'm impressed, but it needs to be combat proven.

That is one sexy aircraft.

I wish we could just get rid of our antique F16s and buy some of these babies.

But since our minister of defense (looks like a pompous bloated toad) seems intent on turning whatever's left of our pathetic military into a freak circus, I don't see that happening any time soon.

The Eurofighter is a generation 4.5 aircraft with limited  supercruise capability and limited stealth.

The F-22 is a true generation 5 aircraft. Big difference.

The Su-35 is only generation 4.

The MiG 1-44 should be generation 5 but the programme has either been delayed or scrapped. The Sukhoi S.37 Berkut is generation 4.5 but it is only a technology demonstrator.

F-22 and eurofighter have much different roles...

F-22 = go out and bomb the shit outta ppl
Typhoon = Homeland defence, but good in offense combat

I love how they have the nice little violin music in the background while they show off a machine designed for killing.

I guess the F-22 is more advanced, considering development for the Eurofighter began that long ago ( wasn't it in the 80's ? ).

but the two fighters really have different tactial roles, so there is no use in comparing them. I guess.

I doubt it.  It's not like they tried very hard to make planes realistic in BF2.  Where's the G force white/blackouts and the ejector seat, for starters?  Wish I felt like sims had got better since XFX and EF2000, now the graphics are sick and everything.  Flying is more designed for instant appeal and quick thrills in BF2.  Can anyone name a recent multiplayer flight sim with Eurofighter (excluding shitty Fighter Pilot)?

I don't care. The name "Eurofighter" fails to intimidate me. I guess I line it up with "Euro Disney."

Since when is the F22 in production?
The Project is still under development, as JSF JOINT STRIKE FIGHTER

So yes the eurofighter is the best out there.

its not ment to combat the f22 so therby its not trying to be better
The Sukhoi-27 Flanker is the standard by which Western aircraft are measured in the post cold war environment. Only the prohibitively expensive F-22 comes close to matching the Flanker on mission effectiveness, whereas the Eurofighter Typhoon performs better than the remaining aircraft, trumping its rival on cost.

I really don't think the F-22 is primarily built for bombing missions, its not built as a bomber at all... It can, but so can most planes. Why would it have thrust vectoring and everything else that makes it a fighter just to bomb stuff?

isn't there an F-23 made as a bombing model
and the F-22 is build as an air superiority fighter

The XF-22 and XF-23 were competing aircraft for the role of an air superiority aircraft and also as the replacement of the F-15. The XF-22 won and became the F-22. The XF-23 was retired.

The XF-32 and XF-35 were competing aircraft for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) programme which was originally the JAST programme. The XF-35 won and became the F-35.

Can anybody post some descriptive comparisons between the EF2000 and the F/A-22?  Please don't just post a slew of numbers.  I just don't have time to do this today.
