Why does this guy not have to have formally JimSwanson as his title?Swan wrote:
Michael Jackson was one of the greatest entertainers of all time. We should never say anything negative about him because there is no way he could have been guilty of anything. If he was by chance guilty, we should forget that in the wake of his death, because death absolves all wrong doings whether they were proven or not. Rip Michael Jackson and RIP Ike Turner.
The MJ joke thread is now open for business in the humor section.

People need to get a life. Just because he gave himself the title " king of pop " does not mean he was anything more that the first boy band gone solo bubble gum shit singer. Prof of his lack of singing ability was the fact that he had to wear his glittery outter wear jock strap to attract gay 10 year olds and people on this forum.
I remember the mid 80's and the music did suck then but even with the lack of talent I never had to resort to listening to his shit. Thriller, the video and the song, was over-hyped retardedness for the Dungeons and Dragons crowd of that era.
I completely don't understand why people freak out over a freak, other than perhaps it makes them feel justified in their freakishness. Now i will sit back and watch the freaks run wild.

There's a compilation album due to be released on 2009-06-30. I guess it was originally intended to promote the upcoming tours, however I guess it will be seen in a slightly different light, now:
There's 5 CDs in the compilation.
NB: This could be an internet rumour, though I don't think it is.

Is that the missing songs?liquidat0r wrote:

They just said it was a death investigation not a criminal investigation also.ATG wrote:

Police are seeking his doctor.
yes they are.. youre just itchin for this to blow up..lol
http://www.wtkr.com/news/wtkr-jacksonco … 7219.storyLAPD robbery-homicide detectives stressed that there was no evidence of criminal wrongdoing. The detectives plan to interview relatives, friends and Jackson's doctors to try to figure out what happened.
Police said BMW belonging to the doctor who lived with Jackson was towed from the entertainer's rented home "because it may contain medications or other evidence that may assist the coroner in determining the cause of death," police spokeswoman Karen Rayner said.
She said the car belongs to one of Jackson's doctors whom police wanted to interview. Rayner said she did not know the doctor's identity and stressed the doctor was not under criminal investigation.
The doctor is identified as Las Vegas cardiologist Dr. Conrad Murray, 51.
Murray is licensed in Texas, Nevada and California. He was present at Jackson's home when he went into cardiac arrest, according to police, and was administering CPR when paramedics arrived.
Investigators spoke to Murray briefly, but have additional questions for him as part of their investigation.
The towed car may contain "medications pertinent to the investigation" into Jackson's death, said detective Agustin Villanueva of the Los Angeles Police Department

He essentially had no childhood; he was out on the road performing since he was around 11 years old. Most 11 year olds can't handle that kind of constant attention and pressure, and I'm sure that contributed to his so-called "breakdown" later on in life.ATG wrote:
He played the bass as well as programmed a lot of the drums. Keyboards and guitar too.
Is it any wonder the bird we put in a cage gets a little odd?
imo, the guy had the intellectual development of a child and that was why he was spending so much questionable time with them. He was not convicted, yet of course he may have done some strange things.
If the children had had any physical indication of him sodomizing them he would have died in prison, but he didn't.
If you spent 95% of your life uber famous you would be an odd bird in a cage too.
He was a man of profound music talent, and while I wouldn't call him the King Of Pop he was arguably the biggest selling music artist of all time with something like 700 millions records sold, which is just

Hmm, thats at Yonge and Dundas, like 2 min from where I work. I'll try to take a picture of it on monday
lol @ Pakistan
I didn't exactly think they would listen to that type of music.
I heard somewhere that every 8 seconds somebody is born and every 10 seconds somebody dies. We're making a big deal about this guy? Apparently I've never heard his music before.

..celebrating his music. How many of those people have sold 750 million records? You found the wrong thread. You're looking for this one.Bradt3hleader wrote:

What the fuck are you talking about? Lack of talent? Have you seen him dance? His music is fucking awesome man. Even if you don't like it, there is millions of people around the work that love it so obviously it can't be shit. I could go on forever arguing with your post but I'm just gonna say this, if you think that MJ had no talent, then I hope you don't think artists like Kanye West or Justin Timberlake are nothing short of pure shit.Lotta_Drool wrote:

Why aren't these two labelled the same? Unless Lilly Allen isn't at Glastonbury and is actually preforming elsewhere in Somerset.Kmarion wrote:

If you are younger than say 25, of course you wouldn't know much about Michael Jackson and how popular he was during the 80's. If you're not a fan, that's cool. However, you can't doubt the man's influence on World Culture. He sold more albums than anyone in the history of music. It's not even close.
Source... cause according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_be … ic_artists he's not first, not even second but third or fourth.killer21 wrote:

CBA to read the the other posts, but just watch all record selling stores take advantage of this by putting all his albums on display and sell them like milk. Personally when I heard he kicked the bucket yesterday morning, I said "Oh. I'm gonna take a piss and go back to sleep."
