Hey guys,

I assume most of you know Crysis 2 has been announced and there was a teaser at E3.

I wanted to know what you guys think of the Crysis and Warhead campaign, every aspect of it, and how you want the next story to be like.

I would like to see you as Nomad again, Psycho is okay too I guess, and I would like to know what happens to the thousands of aliens flying over you in the end of each game. Also maybe some more in-depth stuff.

thoughts anybody?

Its going to be about them in the frozen ball sack (sphere) then out and to repel the invasion of frozen sentinels from heaven.

The multiplayer will suck.

The game will be impossible to run for at least 5 years.

I'm being realistic. And I like Crysis btw.

Stable release. No more fucking bugs like with your shit Crysis and Warhead.
Performance, please for fuck sake. People won't buy you game if can't run it, duhr!
Improved multiplayer with global ranks, VAC cheat protection and better tutorials for the newbies.
Those trees better be anti-aliased and HDR/ MB better not interfere with AA again.

Crysis is a beatiful game graphically... I can finally play it now that i am leasing a nuclear energy powered computer to run it...
but something is missing in the gameplay... If it had BF2/COD4 gameplay with the amazing graphics it would be a hit...
I'm guessing that BFBC2 and BF3 will be pretty like Crysis with better gameplay?

I can play it on High, 1680x1050 with a simple HD4850 and 4GB 667 RAM. That's about 400 dollars AUD. The CPU's e6400 - pretty old for a computer, and still working fine.

I have a feeling O'Neil is already dead, since he was the one who delivered the exoskeleton to the carrier with Psycho and nobody but Nomad, Prophet, Pyscho and Helena leave. So I assume he was killed on the carrier, unless he was the pilot who launched the nuke at the island.

I reckon a little bit of the game will happen on the island and then you'll go to the mainland or something.

I don't know if they planned for that before they made Crysis. So Maybe he was in the VTOL with them or something because I doubt they'd kill him off.

I'd like some more urban stuff.

Like, aliens using magic portals to different sides of the globe, and you have to navigate those portals and destroy the main chamber housing energy or some wicked power source to kill aliens in the locality. So for example there is an opening portal in New York or something, and you have to go through New York, killing aliens and shit, destroy some device, go back, go to another portal opening in the Middle East, kill the energy thing, etc etc.

That way the game wont wholly be based in a frozen tropical island/underground alien base.

crysis did not sell well because not that many people are willing to blow all that money for rig upgrades just to run a $50.00 game. even with a good rig, crysis 1 runs like crap. i tried it in my friends $4000.00 rig and it runs barely at 25-30 fps. maxing out the eye candy and so on. crysis 2, hmm ill pass since its going to end up like supreme commander.

I have an 8800GT 256mb and I run it at 70-100 FPS with all settings on medium and it still looks amazing!

My system (GFX card, CPU) hits the minimum on the dot, but I do now have 4GB of RAM. I can run the game on low on 12somatwhatevergoeshere x 768 res with a few settings on medium with no glitches at all, I get minor bursts of lag only when something explodes and flies apart.

Oooh, new nanosuit. That makes me wonder if you'll play as someone else, or if the sequel is set some time after the original, otherwise I can't see how those going back to the island would get it.

I'd rather play as Psycho than Nomad, he had much more character.

I don't know what i'd want really. More scenarios where you can choose between infiltration and an all out assault. I enjoyed both games, despite the low settings i ran them on.
