Xbox 360 Wireless Headset Sucks! (Help pls)

My wired one keeps cutting out and a while back I invested in a Wireless Headset. It works fantastically well, except for one major flaw - it won't sync with my controller and it'll keep being assigned to Port 2 instead of Port 1 (so two quarters/half of the ring on the console is lit up). When I finally find a way to sync it and it works I'll have no problems but then I'd do something like recharge the headset and I'll encounter the same problem!!

Any tips? I've tried looking at videos and they just look so easy to connect but it isn't working for me

afaik it's not supposed to sync with your controller

edit: nvm i'm retarded.

i've never heard of this problem before... try turning your 360 on while leaving the controller off... and then syncing the headset up?

No I've tried that method before I made this thread, it's just ridiculous, piece of shit headset

I mean, the headset will assign to quadrant 1 if I do your way but then I'll turn on the controller and it'll switch to quadrant 2 while the controller will take quadrant 1.
