I <3 My N64

I was playing Donkey Kong 64 and I forgot how awesome it was. Banjo Kazooie = Rape. Zelda = Rape (Both OOt and Majoras mask)

It just fucking rapes, 64 bit? Noone knew what It meant at the time but all we knew was that it was a big rapefest in a slick black box

A couple weeks ago a friend came over and we played some Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. We were both really hardcore gamers when it came to those games, especially Goldeneye, and they pretty much sucked us into the world of gaming. We relived some good times playing it for hours.

But to be honest, I don't think the N64 was that great of a console, but that's just my opinion. Aside from the two games I just mentioned, there were hardly any others that I enjoyed quite as much.

I never really played goldeneye, I just want into it at the time. I always loved the adventure aspects of games

EDIT: Well I have played it but never back when I was a kid.

Goldeneye and Perfect dark are the 2 best game on N64 EVER! Loved em, But there was some other great title, and...N64 > Any console ever made.

In that era I was a PlayStation guy. I didn't get N64 till ~5 years ago. I think that PlayStation was better, it was far more expansive.

N64 was about quality over quantity.

Sod all games on it, but some of the best gaming ever designed was on that system. I wish somebody would do another, proper, Conker's BFD style game. So many new parodies are possible now.

That and OoT was one of the best games ever made. No question about it.

I think the control scheme you want is called Solitaire.

C-pad for movement, analogue stick for looking.

Had to be done.

Personally I liked N64, even if I didn't get much time to spend with one. The console had its golden age during a time when I was investing my time chasing girls, working summers and ultimately being in the military (1996/7 - 2000) where I of course had most chances of playing it. Nostalgia was in at that time, so we actually preferred playing Super Mario 3 on NES instead. As for most, PS was the "modern" console that had the market dominance in Finland. N64 got a shitty deal.

i got an N64 off ebay two weeks ago for £12 with 20 games....gotta love playing goldeneye, super mario 64 and mario kart i much prefare this console to any modern day ones

It is an epic console. So many people in my building have N64s and we play old school Zelda, Super Smash Bros., Goldeney, Mario Tennis and shit. The games are timeless.

Never had an N64, but I remember being 8 years old and sick in the hospital with bronchitis and playing Super Mario 64 with my Dad with this N64-on-wheels thing they had.

I could go on but these were all ace.

Played many races of Snowboard Kids. Loved that game. IMO better than mario kart.
