LOL want to test NFL players for steroids?  The only difference is in the NFL it's a given.  Fans are indifferent to NFL steroid use because it's assumed many players take them.

Look at the attention Merriman got last year as opposed to any MLB player with the same popularity.

Do you disagree?

Saying you hate baseball because there are a bunch of cheaters while also stating your love for the NFL despite the obvious fact that there are cheaters there too seems contradictory.  I don't care if you hate baseball, but guess what?  People in the NFL take steroids too.  It's an obvious problem in pro sports in general.  Baseball isn't the only one, it's just often seen as the most "pure" by baseball fans - which is why there is such media outroar.

The leak didn't come through baseball authorities, it resulted from a Federal investigation.  Sean Casey's argument holds little merit unless the collective agreement explicitly stated that the test results would be destroyed.  Personally I agree with Curt Schilling's sentiment that all the players that tested positive in 2003 should be outed, not just A-roid.

A-rod isn't the one screwed, although all his future achievments will be tainted, it's the yankees who banked all that money on getting tons of money from A-rods achievements.

In other news pitchers and catchers report in 2 days and 15 hours

Japan wins the WBC again. Why the fuck did Korea actually pitch to Ichiro Suzuki? They should of fucking walked him instead of battling and giving up those 2 runs at the end.

The WBC only matters when the USA or a Latin American team wins. We all know that.

Opening day is coming up soon.

Yeah hopefully he and half your team get hurt haha.

I've got tickets to the Halos home opener

edit:

Braves extend Chipper through 2012

He might end up being the best switch hitter the game has ever seen.  Plus now he's got a chance to become only the third switch-hitter in the history of the game with 500hr (others being Mickey Mantle and Eddie Murray).  Add that to a career .300+ batting average and his total offensive numbers and you've got a HOF gimme.

if the Blue Jays would give a little more support to Roy halladay than they did last year, I bet he would win the CY young award easily.

Chipper led my fantasy team for 3/4 of the year last year, he was injured to finish the season but batted .400 almost the entire year
