It's 20 bucks and a lot of fun... if you like BF2 it's like a future mod for it

Yes it is worth it, unless you can find a better game. I can only compare it to Battlefield 2 when trying to explain why it's good, as I don't know what other games you have. The graphics are better than BF2, the sound is way better, the weapons are better and much more balanced, there are more unlocks and new types of unlocks unlike BF2, the ranking system is fun and rewarding, you get bonus points for getting kills while following orders (within the order radius)... You may not be able to fire your assault rifle without zooming most of the time and still be good, but you'll get used to it. Did I mention that the hit detection is better? As far as I know, it is.
So it looks like i will be buying 2142...
