Holy cocks, I just jizzed in my pants.

The demo is fucking awesome! The controls take some serious getting used to, but once you got the hang of it, the action is intense.

On the downside: There was so much going on on my screen I hardly realised what I was doing. I just shot at every yellow reticule or chevron that popped into my field of view. And it´s hard to line up the plane for accurate main gun fire even on stationary ground targets due to sensitive controls although I use an extreme 3d pro.

I don´t know if I should get it as hard copy or steam download. Steam pre-order gives you blazing angels for free as a cookie, but I like hard copies. Does anyone know if it´s multilingual like the demo?

Right finally got it to dld and installed and despite that I'm aiming to get it on PS3 and use a joystick, its absolutely positively calafragalistically fricken orsum! Took a few goes to get good with the controls but man is this fun and bloody hectic missiles going off all over the place! Epic.

For some reason on mine, it keeps just randomly firing missiles. I'm using a Force 3D pro, I've unplugged a game pad that I thought may be causing the problem but it still happening. Also I've changed the button that fires missiles but still the same.

Edit: Had another go and it fine now.
In terms of the game the assistance mode is a little difficult to get the hang off, but is particularly useful when dogfighting with those SU-47 "aces" in the demo and is certainly a nice extra feature. As is the use of the voice commands really useful for switching targets/weapons.

The cameras make me want to stab myself with a butter knife. They are seriously bad. Why cant you be in the cockpit in assistance off mode? Its the only decent mode ffs

without assistance mode it let me go into cockpit view

Just downloaded the demo and played it.

I think I need to adjust the deadzone of my joystick though...controls seem a little unresponsive or something.

Other wise it's awesome.
It's so fucking epic going into the slightly-fixed-camera mode, reversing the throttle and drift-turning to get behind someone, then hitting the throttle and yelling "Double" in the mic to watch two missiles fire from your plan and blow the enemy to pieces.

The extra planes didnt work for me but coop works fine. You'll need hamachi of course.

How did you get them to work?
I tried copying 'em over, (it said in the readme to replace the F-16, but I can't see it) and they don't work...

you can only move one in at a time. There's no f-16 file as such to replace, but what happens is in-game you select the F-16 and it's magically something else. It works for me in single player, but me n a friend couldnt coop with f22s

yeah I just noticed the plane, it appears to be the Berkut now. But the game crashes now when I try and fly, it gets to the loading screen and then crashes to desktop.
