I'm glad they're for console at the mo, my comp will self-destruct otherwise. Then I can play at full speed and GFX without lagging up or getting freezes etc.

I usually dont post here but the amount of stupidness in this thread is funny. If you would read what's on the websites/etc, you would notice a couple of things.
Bf1943 only has 24 player support and 3 maps because it's a PREPARATION for BF:BC 2. Basically they're releasing it over the summer for players to get used to the Frostbite engine being used on the PC to get people either prepared or more convinced to buy a more full release with the Frostbite engine, that being BF:BC 2 in the winter.
Neither games will be ported from anything.

Hey guys, bc2 is going to be good(pc version will definitely have the jets Poseidon wants). And if bf1943 becomes shitty, then there is always the option to have a ww2 mod for bc2.

Graphics looks rather nice like vegetation and trees. Trees can be shot down now so no pesky limitation on tanks now. But since the tanks are ugly I wouldn't touch them.
The sky looks pretty good too.
So I for one won't be buying that crap. WW2 have been done to death already and they can't for anything throw in something new in it to get my attention.
Dice, do modern or Future type of war games. They seems to be things that score the best. Don't believe me?

COD4 (COD5 didn't get THAT much attention)

Killzone 2
And other modern or future type games. Those old types usually dies pretty quick what I have noticed and Gearbox last Brother in Arms game forced them to fire quite a bit of people.

Now as for BattleField Bad company 2. Sweet I want that.
I don't want the second version of a game that has its roots in a console one. EA should bring out a completely revamped BF2 with better hitreg and decent graphics, it would give them a lot more financial virtues...
