Games that are good for movie making?

With that, I mean games where you can record a file, then switch viewpoints and move the camera around and all that good stuff.
Like Source games with the .dem files, basically.

I think CoD4 has that ability, but I'm not sure.

I'd love it if Crysis had something like that...

Battlefield have have the battle-recorder.

On the consoles, Halo 3 has something similar I heard, though it would be a bitch to record off of that.

Otherwise it's possible in allot of games to remove the HUD and then either spawn without a weapon, or letter-box a weapon out of the picture (like in the early RvBs)

Well Source has Source Recorder, if that's what you mean.

I know I could do the whole HUD removal thing in some games, but what if I want to record the guy I'm playing?

For instance, having a set camera record an assassination that I make in Assassin's Creed.

Assassin's Creed, I don't think so. You could do it but there would be no way to remove the HUD without it interfering with the vid.

Hmm..that would be awesome if they get an easier to use movie maker for Source, so you don't have to mess around with that strange smoother stuff...

Doesn't necessarily have to be FPS. I was thinking of maybe trying something with Company of Heroes.

World in Conflict, in that case. Company of Heroes is good as well, but graphically WiC is better, the movie maker is AWESOME and fairly easy to use.

Yeah but in CoH you can have more units with less guys. So it would be easier to direct.
