Hi! I have installed my very old collection of half-life + blue shift and opposing force. The problem is, I can play it on-line. When i try to, the game tries to connect to half-life.won.net but the connection cannot be completed. I have visited the won.net site and i guess that it is old and totally forgotten on-line playing system and they dont have a contract with valve anymore. So how to play it on-line? I heard u need Steam. I have installed it, but... what do i do know? Thx
after you get steam just use your cd codes to get the games on your steam account.
but... it doesnt accept my cd-key... wtf...
Are you sure you didn't mix up any characters that look alike like 0 and O? You can probably send a Steam support ticket too and read other articles on CD key erros:_Dominiko_PL wrote:

im sure my cd-key is ok... i wouldnt be able to install hl + addons if it was bad
this is what I do:
Steam -> 'My games' tab -> 'activation of product in Steam' (bottom of Steam window) -> enter cd-key -> FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
BTW EDIT
I bought those games BEFORE steam was released, does it mean i cant play HL multi and i have to download (and pay) it trough steam again?

No, I had HL from before steam came out.... still works.
Patch?
Rly? What did you do, you enter cd-key into steam? Does your cd-key match this template? XXXX-XXXXX-XXXX (4-5-4)VicktorVauhn wrote:
