The mclaren one is the best looking one, but i still firmly believe that the new 2009 looks are horrible.
the mclaren only has the new front wing, the rear is the 2008 one. so i will be uglieraerodynamic wrote:

The front wing was implemented on the MP4-23A for testing purposes. The real design is unveiled tomorrow

Does anyone know if the adjustable front wing is only driver adjustable, or if that adjustment can be automated?
I would doubt that very much. Otherwise teams would just take severe constant advantage of it.VicktorVauhn wrote:

Here we go lads, it's been unveiled.

http://www.planet-f1.com/story/0,18954, … 30,00.htmlMcLaren unveiled the new MP4-24 at their Woking headquarters on Friday, vowing to once again claim the World title.
The team's 2009 challenger, which was on display at the McLaren Technology Centre, features the new aerodynamic package that is governed by the new regulations.
This includeds a low, wide front wing and a short, high rear design. KERS, the Kinetic Engergy Recovery System, has also been fitted to the MP4-25.
Speaking at the launch McLaren team boss Ron Dennis conceded that the new regulations meant even more work had to be put into the design of the car.
"Of course it is the same for every team so we can't say the challenges are any less demanding for the competitors," he said.
"Extensive rule changes require extensive amount of work - these are the biggest rules changes we have seen in 15 years.
"That requires the technologists in our organisation, they are not just engineers but scientist with high qualifications, to go back to a plain piece of paper and conceptualising what the fundamental requirement are for the regulations.
"It is there you can get it wrong because if you get it wrong no amount of development can sort it out. What you see in the MP4-24 is a car correctly conceptualised.
"At the same time you are trying to make a good looking car, that is a value we put high, if it looks good it goes good, so what you see is a tremendous outcome from a lot of people, it is a credit from not just the technologists but the other people, this is a fully running car that can run on a circuit tomorrow.
"But this is a second car, the first is already at Portugal, so we feel we are in a good position to attack the time up to the first grand prix. It will be a critical time because it will set the baseline for the rest of the season."

F1 is gay.
Am not so sure I like the long nose on these cars, makes them look pinched. Then again so long as it's fast. I wish they would allow new V12 engines, that would ZOMG RAEP.
