I was playing this earlier today and realized what a timeless classic of my childhood it really was:
Conker's Bad Fur Day!!! for Nintendo 64.
I could still shamelessly recite the entire song of The Great Mighty Poo. Game parodied and satirized everything and anything, and was fuckin' hilaaarious. The Matrix, Saving Private Ryan, Alien/Predator... all of them got spanked by the games awesome comic writers.

Pity MS wiped it's arse with it the second time around.
Would be brilliant if Rare could do a sequel with more shameless rips on everything. It probably wont happen given that their role with MS is the opposite of what it was at Nintendo (bring Xbox to a kiddy audience as opposed to introducing nintendo to adults). I can think of a few likely candidates already.
Transformers, super hero movies, star wars, V for Vendetta... It could be so awesome. Or it could be a total failure like every other rare game besides pinata over the last 7 or so years it has been.

san andreas was one of the best, pity that it was ignored alot due to the other fun things to do, like going on rampages with an uzi and a jetpack, killing random civilians to fill your cyber bloodlust
