Ok, I've been away from these forums for a while, but I'd like to recommend you these games I bought for my PS3:

VALKYRIA CHRONICLES: one of the best games released this year, very underestimated though. A must buy for every SRPGs fan.
NARUTO: ULTIMATE NINJA STORM: Amazing, the best anime game ever. Naruto fans will love it.
MOTORSTORM: PACIFIC RIFT: excellent racing game, an improvement of the firt one in every aspect.
LBP: well, I've said everything that could be said about this game. Love it or hate it.

And these upcoming exclusives too, so save some money:

WHITE KNIGHT CHRONICLES: Famitsu killed it with 29/40, but the game sold 140k copies the first day in Japan. For what I've seen it's an amazing JRPG. A must buy for everyone waiting for a true JRPG.
KILLZONE 2: no further comments needed.
HEAVY RAIN: it looks incredible, I'll be posting more info.
inFAMOUS: again, amazing.
FINAL FANTASY XIII VS.: another JRPG heading to PS3.
GRAN TURISMO 5: no comments needed.
GOD OF WAR 3: no comments needed.

You can get the Simpsons (PS3) for $10-$15 nowadays. It can be short, but is fun and keeps you busy for awhile.

The anime/JRPG games can fist themselves, but..

- LBP, Eh. It's innovative, sure...but it's not really that fun. That's kinda what matters to me..

- Killzone 2 I'll be pre-ordering soon. Hopefully, it won't disappoint like the first one did. Graphics seem to be some of the best I've seen.
- Heavy Rain, meh.
- inFAMOUS I'll probably pick up as well, though I'm more looking forward to Prototype.
- Gran Turismo 5 I'll definitely get, but it's not coming until Christmas of '09.
- God of War III I'm not sure about...I played a tiny bit of the first two, but I'm not sure if I'll enjoy the third one. I'll wait for more videos to come out.

its quite possibly the second best console MP ive ever played. Even my brother whos hates pretty much all console fps's fucking loves it.

Is that so? I played the beta for several weeks and it didn't appeal to me. I'll give it a shot though.
