sounds about right. of course every cpu is unique but that is a good goal.Finray wrote:
So what does everyone think I could get an E5200 2.5Ghz to with an Arctic F7P? DU says 3.6 easy, with a max of 4.
Thoughts/Opinions?
Coo'. What about my RAM? (4GB DDR2 Crucial RAM @ 800Mhz/PC2-6400)GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

depends how much voltage you are willing to give those sticks. And what latency/frequenzy set you want.Finray wrote:

Hmm, just wondering if that's worth it. I mean it's only a 200Mhz boost, and I wouldn't notice it in loading times due to my IDE drive. Yeah, I think I'll just leave that alone.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

if I had to take a guess with a bit slower latencies and decent voltage boost the 1066 might be possible. This is really something you need to try yourself as every ram&mobo setup is unique.
What are you using, liquid nitrogen?menzo2003 wrote:

Good job considering it is a 1.8Ghz sell-and-runmenzo2003 wrote:

my e5200 is at 3.6ghz 24/7
will i see any noticeable performance increase by going after 4ghz ?
Is there even any notable difference between e.g. stock E8400 @ 3Gz and OC'd E8400 @ 3.6Ghz?GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:
