Setting is a twisted fantasy world, like a collection of classic British fairy tales + Dickensian England with a little brothers Grimm for good measure. There's flintlock style guns in it side by side with magic spells as devastating as a low yield tactical nuke.
Oh and the dog. The dog is epic. Nuff said.
It is a good game. Brilliant game if you liked the original but it's still fable... Which means it's definitely not for everybody. I've found that the humour tends to be appreciated more by brits/aussies than mericans.
Also it has the best voice acting ever.
