I'd bet at least 50% here already do and don't know it.

I'm fairly certain if foodstuff is genetically modified it is required by law to be labeled as such.

To answer the question, maybe.  I make a deliberate effort to eat as fresh and natural food as I can but I make exceptions all the time.

Everything is genetically modified when you think about it. As soon as they start farming they only plant successful crops. Cows are bred with other cows to give more milk, meat, etc.

There's nothing wrong with genetically modified crops via the lab, either.

I think he was alluding to a common idea of genetically modified foods (as in crops being manipulated at the genetic level), so that's what I'll go with.

There is nothing inherently wrong with GM crops, except for companies patenting specific types of seed then essentially creating a system of indentured servitude whereby: you always order your seed from the company, must order the specific pesticide from that same company (because the seed you order is specifically made to resist that pesticide), then be forced to do so again and again due to the great patented process of not allowing the plant to produce seeds.

Then there is the idea that a company could sue an outside party for illegally owning and/or growing patented crops due to cross-pollination simply for growing crops near GM crops.

I prefer GM food over that pussy organic stuff
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

I for one, would not...

But I am pretty sure that I have at some point without knowing
though danish laws are very restrictive about it :]
