Finally got my C4 nGen mousepad. It was first shipped via USPS, potentially 3 weeks but I didn't mind waiting. Waited 3 weeks, no dice, contacted support. Due to my tendency to forget about emails for a day or two, it was 5 weeks since the original order went through and still no pad. They were very nice and gladly reshipped it, this time I payed for UPS. However, it seems that someone made a typo with my address. Instead of a 2, they put a 5, and I had to run down to the distribution center to pick it up.

eBay. Mwave was selling it for $275. I got 10% off with an eBay coupon, and 30% MS Cashback. So 40% savings total. It's a Sapphire and it does have a rather nice fan on it.
