Why?

1. People stay dead when they die

2. Using guns other than smgs is useful

If you like the game and play tdm and hq and whatnot then fine. But don't play with nubs the whole time and then call it a nub game when you don't even play the gametype which takes all the skill and tactics.... (I'm looking at you, mint sauce)

search and destroy

that is all... carry on

Search & Destroy is the only way to play the Call of Duty series with any modicum of challenge or skill.

S&D made the game and is one of the finerpoints of CoD's gameplay, brilliant fun.

And I agree it is a lot more satisfying and enjoyable than mindless spraying and terrible respawn systems in TDM/HQ/CTF.

Karma to whoever can tell me how to set cg_fov in solo/co-op. Every time I try to set it it stays at 65. Works fine for multiplayer though.

Nvm, just realized the game is still in beta stage because it was never fixed.

For me War is the game mode there is a bit of team work involved

Cod4 S&D is great. I spend most of my time laying S&D and have a lot of fun with airstrikes at the start of rounds and claymores are actually used tactically and not just to cover your own ass.

CoD4 SnD was not really all that good in my opinion.

for my money Sab was a much more dynamic and interesting game type that required just as much in game awareness and teamwork but didn't hinge mostly on trying to nade spot the enemy on the first 30 seconds of the round.

Also true.

Plus, it went to S&D after a certain amount of time, so everyone's happy!

And you can get insane kill totals in that mode.
