1 - MGS4
2 - GoW2
I've played most of the other ones listed and none of them come close to these two tbh.

And I got all excited with 2008's games.TrashBlinD wrote:

Quite a good year for games.
For games in general, I'd say. I'd nominate GTA IV, Fallout 3, and GoW2 for the games of the year I guess, but none of those touch previous GotYs.phishman420 wrote:

I never played MGS4, so I replace it with Burnout Paradise, and add GTA:IV. I can't wait until GTA is released for PC.M.O.A.B wrote:

If you can, borrow it from a friend rather than buy it. You'll be finished in 2 days easily.SharkyMcshark wrote:

I actually 'acquired' it at a LAN last week and installed it last night. I played about 20 minutes and got bored to be honest, but in fairness that wasn't really enough time for me to get a grip on how good a game it is. The novelty of being able to turn invisible wore off after the first few times. I'm sure at some point I'll go back and play some more, but it didn't really grasp me as much as I'd have liked it to for all the hype.TheAussieReaper wrote:

The fps are improved on the original, at the expense of the physics engine quality and high crysis gfx.
The game play goes up a fair bit though, as the koreans don't take 6 shots to kill, and there's some fun vehicle aspects, riding a train and a hovercraft, etc but as a game it doesn't last very long.
I finished it in around 5 hours . It was damn good though.TheAussieReaper wrote:
