Xbox 360 Problem

ok, i just got an xbox 360 with GOW1 & 2 plus fifa and have a problem.

now GOW2 works well without issue, but GOW1 doesn't seem to work well, here is the problem.

now, i am playing on a 32" CRT TV, now my PAL is set to 50, but GOW1 asks to be played on PAL60, but when i choose that setting my screen keeps changing from colour to black and white.

why is this happening???

GOW2 works fine on PAL 50.... so does fifa 09

also the same thing is happening to Tomb raider underworld demo

BUT, i tried the xbox on a 15" CRT T.V and it worked without any problems on PAL 60

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check your TV manual?

Or is there more than 1 scart plug in the back of your TV? You could try switching scart plugs.

the t.c came with no manual, i don't know thee model number i bought it cheap with stand for £40 or something. I have the Xbox 360 connected to the T.V with the red/yellow/white cables, would connecting it via scart help???

when i tested it on the 15" i connected the Xbox via the cables and not scart and it worked on PAL60

I use a scart because it is just easier to plug in

connecting with the 3 wires is lazy, just plug in the front of the telly, with scart you got to pull the telly forward, start stretching to connect the scart and then put the telly back.

too much effort for me, but will try after i finish off my dinner

Well with my TV you have to plug the three cables into the back also, so its just easier to use the scart :>
