I have CoD:WaW on pre-order at the moment. However, I've had a change of heart just now - I'm downloading the Left 4 Dead demo now and I really want to play with you guys... I'll be playing with some right cocky bastards (my rl friends) if I get WaW.

So what do I go with guys... which game should I get within the week and which game should I ask for for Xmas?

From what I have heard from people that are demoing it, is that it get old REALLY quick. Try the demo before you cancel you WaW pre-order.

Not to mention the fact that Mirror's Edge has about 7 hours of playtime tops.

Sucks too, I was pretty excited for it.

Not to say it's a bad game, but it's way too short to warrant a buy. Rent it and buy L4D.

All CoD's get repetitive, CoD: WaW is CoD4 w/ WWII guns, and a decent story, check out the review. I think I'll get CoD:4 over CoD: WaW, mainly because I prefer modern weapons, but I think I'm more experienced w/ an M1 Garand then anything. (I use to play WWII shooters on PS2, MoH: RS and CoD:2 FTW)

WaW is a piss poor game, I aint spending a single penny on it. Left 4 dead on the other hand, it took me and 3 other mates about 2 hours to complete the demo on expert.. and god it owned. Boring as hell when i was on my own, but well worth its price tag if you have the mates to play, access to an OOG voice comms is good too

CoD:WaW doesn't have the m1 garand you're thinking of.
