This is not for the faint of heart. I haven't been challenged like this in a racing game in a long time. The NFS series has nothing on this game when it comes to a challenge.
The only other game (series) that gives me this much trouble is the Gran Turismo series. I'm actually glad that it has this difficulty because 1) I won't finish the game in 5 hours and 2) the sense of accomplishment is high. It just means we need to play it a lot and practice to get good. I feel that I'm on my way though, because during those repeated times playing that series I went from getting 5th the entire time to winning and getting 2nd if I lost.
RE: online: It's fun when you can beat people with significantly faster cars than you during races. There was a couple of times when I should have gotten last, but I ended up in 3rd or 4th instead.
