It's not a lightsaber, it's a katana that is super-heated so that it glows. Has the advantage of more lethality and making your enemies think you have a lightsaber.

HM3 seems to be just a remix of the original, with the Men In Black intro. I didnt really notice any difference from the original...

And that walker was Japan's heavy mech. He has a fairly powerful beam attack or runs and rams into enemies. No D-Gun tho . The Commander could rip through an army of those mechs in seconds.
Trailer: . I loved the beta and can't wait for the campaign mode. Definitely buying this game.
