Just clocked it and it's awesome. I enjoyed it more than oblivion, which is saying someting because I sunk hours into that game. The one area where oblivion is better is the character customizeability, in this game you have to play as Geralt (so you can't change his looks) and in terms of skills you will need a basic proficiency in everything to survive (so you can't go pure mage/pure warrior). There are also essentially only 3 pieces of armour in the game- and one of them is only available endgame.
But...the storyline/mainquest is so much better, longer and more satisfying. Characters are more developed and have better stories. Combat is less retarded (no shitty fps style and there are gory finishing moves a la assasin's creed) and there are 3 different camera angles so you can play it the way you want. The enhanced edition fixes the bugs/load times/plot-holes as well, and if you have the original game you can download the enhanced editionifying patch for free.
If you haven't played it I would strongly recommend it.
