Just curious was Fable any good? and if so should i buy it for the $10?

IIRC, Fable 2 takes place 500 years after Fable. So I'm guessing it's like Fallout 3 - you don't need to play the predecessors in order to get an understanding of the story.

It was pretty decent. It could have been longer, but yeah it's good.
I actually just pre orderd it, never played the first one but it looks good + i need a new game so this and fallout 3 should keep me occupied, when Iam not drinking or @ school it will be a good hang over type game

Fable the lost chapters is like one of my fav games, played it 2 times, 1 time evil and 1 time good .

It was a bit of fun. I wanted to be a kind of "anti-hero" and do good things but in bad ways. Like early on in the game there's this bully who's taunting a bum and you have the opportunity to teach the bully a lesson or tease the bum. My idea was to teach the bully a lesson by killing him but smashing him across the face with my sword only lead to him running away and me getting a "good" point for helping the bum. For a game that offers choice it's pretty crap but I'm sure Moleneux, (chatty bastard that he is, God damn I wish he's just jam an oil tanker in it sometimes,) has fixed some of this with Fable 2. Give the first one a shot though, I'm sure you'll get your $10 worth.

my friend bought it... sold it, bought it again to prep for fable 2
For $10 it is worth it. Definitely. I got it on release. The original one, not the lost chapters. Got that too though. Pretty awesome.

Tis an awesome game. I played it again recently when I had no other games to play. The Lost Chapters added a lot more content too.

Lost Chapters is all the missing content that wasn't added to Fable, because after what was promised it turned out to be half decent (I'm not being harsh, I waited fucking ages for it, and it didn't do what the guy said it would). Even after all that stuff was added its still short, but more fun in my opinion. Buy Lost Chapters.
Lost Chapters adds about a 40% chunk to the original gameplay.
