Also. It isn't really NFL, but it's football.
As for QB talent, both Orton and Grossman are below average for the NFL, and I don't think either are really difference-makers for the team as far as talent. So, frankly, it doesn't matter who starts ... just give me the one the team will play harder for.|TG|VividSynergy wrote:
Grossman > OrtonOrangeHound wrote:
If you love the Bears, there is no way you love Grossman ... QB has been one of our problems for many years, and Grossman is one of the main reasons.|TG|VividSynergy wrote:
I love the Bears, but Orton is an idiot.
Grossman FTW.
(Yes ... Bears fan since the 80's.)
I'll take a better QB any day, I just like Grossman more then Orton. He makes just as many mistakes as Grossman does, but Grossman could actually move the ball and get touchdowns. Orton hit his career high today of 3 passing touchdowns in one game...
The fact that the team named Orton as one of the team captains should tell you that the players have respect for him as a leader.
Meh, I can't remember the last time the Bears had a play-making type of QB ... sadly, Jim McMahon and Sid Luckman are really the franchise's only standouts.
Detroit Lions wins teh series!!!
I thought All starting QB's wear the captain patch now?OrangeHound wrote:

guess not, the Chiefs, 49ers, Vikings (all have new qb's)
some teams have up to 8 captains!

As a Cowboys fan I was disappointed. But they played like crap so they deserved to lose. Barber needs to touch the ball more than 11 times. He is their workhorse. Pandering to TO won't get them too far..Sup wrote:
Watched Wash vs Dallas yesterday-loved the match!
Indeed, QB's are typically voted captains of the team ... but not on the Bears who scrape barrel bottoms for QBs. There wasn't a QB team captain on the Bears in 2006 or 2007. I don't know about earlier years.Locoloki wrote:

Florida's very bi-polar. Some places can be amazing, some places can be total shitholes.Locoloki wrote:
