Now's your chance.

Get all RockStar games on Steam this weekend for $30. All the old GTA games, Max Payne games and Manhunt.

Or if you don't care for Max Payne and the others, you could just get all the GTA games for $15

I'd rather play GTA IV when it comes out on PC (though I have it on my PS3).

Played through III, VC and SA...would like to play Max Payne 1 and 2 though.

Max Payne(the orginal, never played 2) was, and still remains one of my all time favorite shooters.  Great story behind and a great style, excellent game.  Hopefully the movie won't tank.

It's got Mark Wahlberg in it, so it should be good. Oh wait, he was in The Happening...

If you want GTA 1 & 2, Rockstar is giving them away for free.

Sounds like a nice deal, but I hate buying things through Steam.

Why is that?

It's secure, convenient, easy. You can get the games whenever and whereever you are. Valve are very trustworthy and so you don't have to worry about what'll happen in the future. I can understand preferring to have a retail copy, but hating to buy through Steam?

Probably because if you get it through steam you gotta DL the whole game. Which is why I got a tactile version of the Orange Box, it would take 30 minutes to install from the disks but 3 hours to DL all the games from the internets.

If time's the complaint, download while you're doing something else. None wasted.

I still like the tactile feel of having a physical library to decorate my wall with. Probably one of the reasons I could never go with an e-book PDA, let alone view them on a big screen. I'm sorry, but trees can be replanted.
