When you play on Legendary and have Iron skull on you go outside after killing the monitor and walk to your left and under the ramp 1 level below you are the ghosts.

Still haven't even bought/beat Halo 3 yet.
First strike was when master chief found other spartans and they flew together into a covonant fleet and destroyed the entire fleet before it reached earth.
