Mythic Map Pack I guess
My guess is that it carries on from when Chief and Cortana drop onto the planet that they were floating past ... although it is a multiplayer expansion I believe

it just came out on marketplace and this is what the description says:
"High action and deep mystery await players in the new Halo 3 campaign experience. Prepare to drop!"

Yeah, I'd bet a fair amount of money on the Mythic Map Pack, seeing as some of the TU2 achievements are from the 'Mythic Map Pack'... can't wait, if this is a campaign expansion... I wish it was singleplayer though >:0
I heard Halo 4 is in the talks, with another company though, bungie has not been signed for a 4th title.

It's probably DLC for Halo 3. I didn't think so until I saw the Halo 3 logo.
Halo: Chronicles (which Peter Jackson is heading) was what I thought it was going to be.

It's good that they're continuously upgrading Halo 3 though. It's one of MS's best games, and it's got an incredibly large fanbase.

An RTS and a squad-based game...sweet.
Some people were saying this could be 'less cartoony' (if you want to call Halo 3 cartoony) and more gory and real... seems interesting because humans don't have shields like the Spartans and Elites

Those pods dropping from the sky kinda do look like what the Helljumpers use for orbital insertion...so yeah there is a high possibility that the expansion/ or whatever, chronicles what the ODSTs did post Halo 2.Poseidon wrote:

I only played Halo and Halo 2 for my Xbox. I also read Fall of Reach. How are the other books? I've been wanting to get into Halo again, but aint gonna spend money on an xbox 360 just to play it
