I'm looking into getting a 360 (possibly a PS3) and am wondering if theres any good games for more than one player. Can more than 1 person play online with a game like bad company or Halo at the same time? (on an online server, not with like 2 people in one server). If not, any good games for 2-4 people to play at the same time?

Gears, Halo 3, CoD: WaW all have co-op. Gears and Halo are good (played all 3 Halos with my brother in co-op) and CoD: WaW looks promising.

What he said.  Sucks that Army of Two is only 2 vs 2 though.

Gears of War by programming doesn't allow online multiplayer with a guest.  Normally, you need two Live accounts.  But you can trick the program by first loading a game that allows online guest, like Halo 3.  Load up Halo 3, sign in to your Live account.  Have your buddy sign in as Guest.  Your guest will then be YourAccount(1).  Remove the Halo 3 disk, load Gears, and your good to go.

I agree, GoW and Army of Two are both good fun with a friend. But sadly, no there arent many split screen games. Every dev is obsessed with bloody online play. Online is nowhere near as good as split screen.

Play Army of Two on co-op for a few days and then return it. It's not worth the money at all, but it is mildly entertaining and amusing; probably not because of the game, but because when me and a friend played it, we'd just yell and curse at each other the entire time and would want to just finish the damn game.

Wrong.  You can play Army of Two split-screen online.  I haven't played it in awhile, but if guest isn't available, you can use the guest trick I mentioned above.  Since it is 2 vs 2, almost everyone you meet is playing with guest.

Halo 3 is still the best though with 4-way split screen online or offline.  If you have a 46 inch or larger monitor, you are good to go.

I think Call of Duty 2 (or was it 3), has 4-way online splitscreen with guest.  Call of Duty 4 4-way split screen offline is fun too.

Or you could just press the Y button in the player match
Saves a shit load of time

Edit: For Gears

I got an undiserved AWM and my post got deleted, but I'm gonna say it again:

Pong.

@MODS:This is not spam.

There is a Pong game - it was even mentioned in Edge a few months back I think - it's two player - and it is for the 360 - available on Live if my memory serves me correctly.
