I made my family, moved them in, now how do I get a pet?

I can't go back to the make family option and get it there, plus I can't find anywhere I can buy one.

Halp?

When I had it, I used the Phone>Services>Pet Adoption or something. Then there was a choice of preset animals you could adopt for a price.
