ok, my mum is planning to redecorate the the living room and kitchen. Now i used to have a software on windows 98 on a CD from a magazine called "PC World" (not the shop). There was a software on that where you build a room(build layout/size of room in 2D first), decorate it and then add furniture etc. This was free and in full 3D.

now I'm wondering are there any other good free home/room designing/decorating/building software available that are in full 3D, and preferable work on Vista???

thanks

Fuck vista and get 98 back, then decorate, then reconvert to vista.
The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.

Doesn't Rona or Home Hardware have stuff like this in their stores?

lots of companies have something like that, but thats not what i want.

i want something that will let you create a room, then decorate it with windows/doors, furniture etc. and then just decorate the room in full 3D

I didn't find one for vista but...
dual platform for both Macintosh and Windows 95/98/ME/NT/XP/2000

DesignWorkshop Lite is the name of it...

maybe it will still work...just look it up...it's free download

Kinda of ironic that I'm working with hammer editor at this very moment.

Never saw this thread. Try Google Sketch-Up, I've used it a bit and it is really quite easy and handy to use.
