I get a slight burning from nettles, but I've never gotten anything from poison ivy. Cherokee blood ftw.

Haven't got clue as it doesn't grow in the uk,i think....
lol, foreign bastard
its uhh.... poison ivy... I dunno how else to put it...
http://www.medicinenet.com/poison_ivy/article.htm
Its a three leafed plant that has some oil on it. The oil usually makes you break out in a rash and itch like crazy. The oil also spreads so as you itch it your likely to spread it to other parts of your body.
All you normally need to do is brush up against it or touch it and the oil gets on you.

Wow that really surprised me, I thought most people were allergic to it.
I know a lot of people aren't allergic to poison oak.

I actually wiped my ass in the woods with poison oak once by accident when I was a kid. Luckily I'm not allergic to it.
I have no idea if I am or not, I have never had it, but I'd suspect I would be... I worked at a place where I was around poison ivy a lot and I never got a rash, but I was also wearing long pants 90% of the time.
Hence the second part of my sentence.TheAussieReaper wrote:

Also, I just realised:
lol @ poisonous 'trees'
"HOLY CRAP, ITS COMING RIGHT FOR US!" doesn't seem suitable in any situation.
My state was founded by Batman. Your opinion is invalid.
I don't even think we have such thing as a posioson ivy in Denmark.
My answer would be no.

Hell yes I'm allergic to it. I usually get it at least twice per year, and once I get it then it's going straight to my balls. I guess I scratch there alot.
I've even had it in my nose and on my lips. At that point I had to go into emergency room, because it can close your throat up. Had to take the biggest shot in my life, some sort of steroid. Worked like a charm, though.

Also, avoid this plant: Ortega. It is NASTY. Little, thin, almost microscopic spins on every part of the plant that's above ground (even leaves) and it stings, burns, and itches like a motherfucker. I encountered it in Ecuador.
