10 Players was the max when i played on the server this noon, come on people USE the serverand have some fun with us!

It's good to see certain names 're-appear' in the server...That means players will come back...
And even when "This game will start when ... more player(s) join" is displayed... don't instantly disconnect... Why ?
- if everyone does that... it will be empty forever duhh...
- you can practice your skills (especially flying)
- Experienced guys then tell you all the secrets to BF2 !

Quick battlereport of today:
I managed to play a couple of rounds on the EU server with around 25 people.
Although ist harder to keep flags, the battles last longer and it may well be, that suddenly some kind of
"you-have-been-playing-BF2-for-too-long-now"-batch appears (I Got Expert Spec Ops today... now I can ask my boss for a raise )
@ Schuss: I did not experience connection problems the last few hours....

alright. I have a tight schedule today ( work, basketball referee duties and the champions league matches ), but I'll try to get on the server tonight.

answer in from our GSP. Seems the hardware is letting them down. The server will be taken off and replaced completely. Unfortunately, this might take a couple of days.

Thats how i would make my config. start a lan-server, make my config, test it and than copy paste.
the advantage is if it flushes down the rhine u can easily reset it.
edit: you gotta download the bf2nonrankedserver.exe Build 1.2 for that here 250MB

yup. The Opteron-based system they made for the new server wasn't really up to the task, I suppose. It was down more than running...
