im interested in getting back into the game, my chars name is Rafter Man, im caldari and i has a Moa cruiser, when i last logged on i had some Battleship and battle cruiser skills in training, by now i should be able to get a Raven, and i am definitely able to get a drake or a ferox. If i do get back into the game i was wondering if someone could teach me the inns and outs of the game, i have the basic concepts understood as well as the whole trading thing between stations, i just need a better understanding on how to outfit and play a battleship/battlecruiser.

edit, does BF2s have a fleet?

Nopers. Stabber is speed + buffer (my fit goes 4k/s with no plants), you dont have the slots to armor tank. Basically if your shield is getting hammered, bugger out with your MWD. Orbit at 15km or so (MWD off) and fight from outside web range.

Not really, but we can form one for pirating and such sometimes.

I've been ratting low-sec (not 0.0) lately and having great success. Only using a cruiser too.
I've already seen a True Sansha go down too.

Bah, epic disagree. You only need propulsion jamming 1 to pirate. Screw the ga(y)tecamping and station humping. Go out in belts with a few frigs and go shoot stuff, if you die, you lose what, half a mil? It's excellent experience for little to no risk.

qft, gate and station camps is where the pvp becomes shit, can jump into a cruiser whilst under 1mil sp and if you get in a thorax with decent drone skills, gallentians (whatever) im looking at you, you can go tear shit apart

Anybody know if you can manufacture/produce blueprints, there seems to be alot of talk on the eve forum about this but nothing actually official. I mean originals not copies

You can, but BPO's are no longer able to be found I believe and thus are very rare and expensive.

You can get BPO's but they're expensive as shit, but then T2 BPO's aren't available.

wot?

BPOs for everything tech 1 are available scattered around the market. They range from cheap (100k for rigs) to moderate (4-5m for probes) to wow that's steep (50-80mish for cruisers) to holy jesus (just under a bil for battleships).

T2 BPOs are still being sold, occasionally on the forums. They're even more wtf-spensive, but you need some serious skills and a plan (and some bank) before you even consider buying one.

@Madkatters stabber set up for me

Just wondering about the Nanofiber and Overdrive, seeing as this will be a fresh char without imba skills, is it ideal to fit a second nanofiber? im not the best at speed fittings and thought that its all well and good having a high optimal speed with an overdrive, but its no good if i cant 'turn' like i could with an extra nanofiber

There are rumblings of a nanofiber nerf. I would try it on EFT and sisi first.

If CCP have any common sense, or even a conscience well they make sure minmatar ships like the Stabber/Vaga can still reach the speeds they need to not get popped

They are getting nerfed. Pretty sure the overdrive is still a better choice, and it will be "okay" post nerf, but certainly not as good.

Woah don't underestimate anti pirate space! Bloody hell, just went out in a thorax, couldn't be bothered with searching 0.0 for ages so i went to a few jumps off of empire.. finaly found an osprey with caracal protection in a roid belt, after about 5 seconds of locking on, a crow, a taranis and a harbinger had warped in to help them.. i was expecting a quick kill but bloody hell
