Of course they will release gameplay trailers eventually, they would be absolutely retarded if they didn't, but it would be better if they skipped the useless pre-rendered trailer and actually tried selling a game by making it good. What don't you get about "Announcement Trailer"?

Nobody says it can't, it's just that it was an official trailer which simply shows what the game is going to be based around. Gameplay trailers will come later. The only thing that had really been known before they were released was simply the name.

What is the point of the announcement trailer if not to show off the game?
