You can, disable SLI, copy the data to a second folder, edit the shortcuts and presto, it works

No it does not, it says FAH does not currently support dual-gpu for my GPU model, when I open the "-gpu 1" ruled shortcut.

I decided to say fuck sleep because I wanted to fix up my dual-GPU folding. It's almost 3AM, but I am folding at 3800PPD now

I don't even know what I did wrong in the first place, Just reinstalled and set everything up _twice_ and now it works like a charm

The shop just called me. The PoV 8800GT 512 I originally wanted isn't produced anymore. Getting a single-slot 8800 (or similar) is turning into a nightmare. I'm not too keen on buying a BFC OCed 8800GT that costs twice that of a normal 8800GT. 9800 series cards all have dual-slot cooling. The only 8800GS they have is also dual slot. Should I get a 9600GSO then? It's also a G92 based card

Asus, MSI, XFX, etc. If you have big problems with it, I can get you an XFX 8800GT with single slot cooling for £77.

Not over here. Asus have that damned glaciator heatsink, MSI use a vf-1000 on their cards, no XFX available here.
