- And you thought CRYSIS was bad? Far Cry 2 Minimum/Recommended specs.
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs)
is that like pooey?
is that like pooey?
I'm fine in all those aspects. There's nothing really out there tbh.
Keep in mind that was a blatantly obvious lie. If they do that again nobody will buy from them every again.Poseidon wrote:

Nothing too bad.
Wasn't Crysis' recommended a 8800GTS 640mb or higher?
I guarantee the recommended setup will run the game on low... this will be interesting to see if this game doesnt do well like Crysis because of the needed comp hardware?
Love is the answer
That's not bad for recommended. If you want to play the latest, you have to have a computer that's a bit newer than 5 years old.
So no 8600MGt supported?
the game is gonna suck any ways.
the game is gonna suck any ways.
i'm safe
The funniest thing that crysis and far cry 2 will still run like shit on ultra high settings and quad core pc with two 9800gx2
so why the hell post recommendet spec. on the game box? 8600 is crap...it cant even run bf2 (3 year old game) 64 player server on all high

If it uses the same chipset as the other 8600 cards, it is supported. I have no idea why you would use a laptop to play it anyway.aerodynamic wrote:

512MB of GFX memory? Come on.
That's gotta only apply to larger monitors, otherwise that's ridiculous. Oh well, once I get that 4870, my rig will be

Yes at 1680 resolution, with 2*AA, but come on, no card can do that amazingly yet man.TheAussieReaper wrote:

My computer is similar build to Elite's (from what I remember on ancient discussions in 'Tech') and I think it will wipe the floor with this game.
Providing the coding and actual design isn't as unnecessarily bloated and buggy as Crysis was.
But still she'll muscle through

4GB PC6400 800Mhz Ram
Nforce 7 Tri-Sli mobo
Nvidia GTX 260 896MB
Good combination tbh
I haven't upgraded to the new-fangled Nvidia cards yet, their price isn't justified by the performance increase in my opinion.
Running higher frequency PC2-8500 RAM though (~1000Mhz overclocked).
Sticking by my 2x EVGA OC'd 8800GTX's til something mindblowingly good comes along. Waiting for the new Nvidia perhaps.
