GPU client works fine for me, could be an ATi only problem
Something to test on a clean install when the new hard drive arrives.TheEternalPessimist wrote:

I can only get the console GPU client working on my 8800, the system tray version crashes. I can't get the new SMP client working at all.
GPU client doesn't work for me anymore :S. It says "this beta expired on august 2". Where can I download the latest client???

CLICK HERE FOR THE NEW CPU CLIENT
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Is that the SMP client you posted Freezer?
Do you need to use the affinity changer for the new SMP client?

It should be the standard client.SpIk3y wrote:

Though now my GPU client isn't working.
EDIT: GPU client works now but CPU client died on me... WTF?
EDIT #2: Ok, got both working. 5.5k PPD.

Also remember that this only works when your PC is on.NooBesT wrote:

Hey, I'm back. I've installed the new clients and should be outputting work again.
For the new CPU client, the normal and smp client is unified. Normally it will run on a single core, if you run it with the "-smp" flag it will run on multiple cores.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
