I remember only one thing which gave our country bad reputation:
it was a commercial poster of Amnesty International that showed a gipsy kid with a beaten-up face, and the text was: "Donate for this poor little kid who was beaten up by hungarian policemen..." or something like that.
It is a fact that maybe 60% of hungarians dislike "roma" people (we cant say gipsy, because that is considered as a racist term, instead they are officially called romas), but it was not realistic.
I did not see any flyer or poster dealing with the same problem in france (many french hate arabs) or in germany (turkish minority).
