I've been playing a ton of golf this summer (played 5 rounds one week, lel). Probably my favorite sport. My handicap is at 17.3 and falling.

Anyone else play?

I play a mean mini golf. As for actual golf, I have played a few times with friends. It was pretty fun, but I wasn't very good. It isn't something I would go out and do, but I wouldn't pass up an offer to go play a couple holes. Fun to play, boring as fuck to watch.

I don't believe him. I'm about a 20 or so, but I don't play as much as I used to. Use to try to get out at least once a week, then once a month, now I'm lucky if I go a few times a year.

No, my Dad's a big golfer and pressured me into at a very early age. When I came to an age where I realised my rights to not do things I didn't want to and have the courage to tell him that I did so. I still pitch and put sometimes.

i shot an 84 once like 5 years ago though

I play not as often as I like, last time I went out was a warm-up at a 9-hole and shot 14 over or something...Not so good a start to the season but meh...I've got a 300+ yard drive so that keeps me happy.

yes, it's all electronic here, and I'm pretty sure it's electronic in the US as well?

when I come home, I go to the official hcp web-site, select the course, enter score, and it adjusts my handicap for me - ...so I get an accurate handicap.

yeah I play regularly, looking at about once a month.

Don't have an official handicap but I'm guessing it's around the 20 mark.

Why most 17 year olds do that...

They should be happy the younger generation are taking up the sport and taking an interest.

I used to, it kind of dropped off but i would love to get back into it again.

My dad is really good at golf and so is my older brother, and my 2 little brothers get private lessons from a pro golfer at a very private and expensive golf club.
