I'd say Crash Bandicoot 2 is better than 1 and 3 (and every crash game since...), and Driver 1 is better than 2.

I'd also recommend Rollcage Stage 2 and Wipeout 2097 (apparently wipeout 3 is the best but i only have 2097). Just from memory. Metal Gear Solid (the best PS1 game) has already been mentioned of course.

It also had barely any proper platforming levels (my main problem with it), and all the powerups made it too easy.

I did like 3's time trials and its few proper levels though.

Classic Spyros don't suck anywhere near as bad as the new ones do from my experience.

You definately forgot about Tenchu in that list.
