I was playing Max Payne 2 with both the SMP client and GPU client running for about 2 hours and didn't get any lag. Like max said you just right click on the fah icon on the taskbar and click quit to shut down the GPU client if you want.

under XP you need a full core per GPU, under vista the GPU runs fine alongside the CPU one. Specs?

I'm on Vista 64. So I make two folders for the CPUs, right? Then I launch each one and config it as you said? I did all that, but now I have two F@H DOS-style windows up. When I reboot do they go away?

did you install as a service? If you did, they'll go away if you reboot

also install the GPU client. Loads of points

I'm not sure if it is. Each time I right click it and press Display (in the systray), the progress counter is always reset. And it doesn't show the donor name or team number.

edit: If I hover over the icon in the systray it seems to update (it read 500/25000, then a minute later it read 750/25000)

Do you have UAC on? It tends to cause problems. Latest cuda drivers? The viewer isn't working properly in this release; some people have problems with it. What does fahmon say?
