Besides Mario Kart and MAYBE Animal Crossing you didn't even name the DS's really good games. New Super Mario Bros., Advance Wars, Pokemon, and a few Final Fantasy re-releases just to name a few. Then you've got the games that are still really good but less popular ("cult classics"), like Ace Attorney and Trauma Center. Heck, they even released a Snowboard Kids game. I loved that series back on the N64. Anyway, now they're releasing Guitar Hero and Civilization, even. The DS has plenty of good games, not just "attractive" titles to lure in casuals like Nintendogs, to make a gamer want to have one (that said, some people actually really do like Nintendogs a lot).

You don't need a wireless reciever to play te DS online.
And you also listed alot of shit games there.
Poseidon's right, everyone here is bias. But while I'm here:
DS > PSP always.

My state was founded by Batman. Your opinion is invalid.
The PSP is definately beat in my eyes, theres very few games coming out now and it can only get worse, unless sony put alot more money in this platform..which i dont see them doing.
The few games that are half decent that will be coming out:
Gran Tourismo 4
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09
Star Wars the Force Unleashed
Lego Batman
Pro Evo 2009
Crash Bandicoot
Need for Speed Undercover
Resistance: Retribution
Half of these will be out next year, so this will be spread thin for 2 years or so.
Very disapointing.

DS & Wii are for all ages. XBOX and PS(3/P) are for the social life lacking nerds who play 24/7.

Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
Who looks more like a dick?
Someone waving their arms around their head playing a computer game instead of doing it in real life. "O guys ive got such a cool idea, lets play a bowling emulator instead of actually going out to play it!"
Someone playing a racing game or shooter that they can't do in real life and hence why it's been created into a game.

Stop bashing the DS please, and who was dominant in the old days? Nintendo thats who.ELITE-UK wrote:
As we all know, the Sony PSP is pretty much dead.
PSP sales stand at 37 million
DS sales at 70 million
Why oh why did it beat the PSP?, i love the PSP and wish more games came out for it.
Its the more powerful system of the 2, has built in wifi for easy internet access and also good online play. Can play very good quality dvds and has a stack of brilliant games...to name a few,
God of War
Gta: Liberty city
Gta: Vice city
Medal of Honor heroes 1 and 2
Ratchet & clank
Secret Agent Clank
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
And then the DS, it has a touch screen capability with dual screens (2 screens not needed IMO) you have to buy a wireless reciever for online, which i can only be shit and a built in mic.
With games such as:
Nintendogs
Animal crossing
Brain training
More brain training
Mario party
Mario cart
Dogz
All the games for the DS are absolute dog shite and yet its won, which in turn has killed a far better more superious console, the PSP!
Why would anyone want to play brain training, if i wanted to play a game i dont want to be thinking, i want to be enjoying myself in the spare time!
Yes the console is aimed at the more casual market but come on, its killing an absolute masterpiece in handheld technology..the PSP.
Its same with the Wii, winning against the much superiour 360 and PS3.
The casual market is killing the proper gaming platforms off, its about time it went back to the old days!!!!
I've never really seen a point to this argument...Vilham wrote:

"That game must suck because I can do it in real life"

plus it has a good reputation whereas everyone hates windows.
unfortunately they're waaaaay overpriced.
Try more Mario, Zelda, Metroid and Castlevania.Scorpion0x17 wrote:
And I'm sure Nintendo have something up their collective sleeves - the DS-wobble-board, or a candy-coated-DS, or some such gimmick, and the Otaku will just lap it up.
Macs aren't all that bad. Just overpriced, even for pre-builts, and not nearly as fault-free as the ads would lead you to believe.Poseidon wrote:

I also don't notice much perceivable difference between the quality of Mac and PC Photoshop work, and I'm sure nobody could tell you the difference by looking at the final result.

Mostly girls buy Nintendogs, although I don't even understand why people bother, if you like dogs go buy one.George547 wrote:

Please note I have neither a PSP, nor a DS, I just have a Wii, 360, and a computer.
The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
Same difference.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

How does enjoying offerings of the four Nintendo food groups make one obsessive? So far, they're a bit more fun to me than GoW/GTA on the PSP. For that matter, how does buying memory for games that don't include it for a system that should've included it make one not obsessive?Scorpion0x17 wrote:

I suppose being able to see the screen without having to throw a blanket over your head while on the road makes the difference.

Ive played my neighbrs old Gamegear, and to be honest, I cannot, in anywa, see why it didn't crush the gameboy. Even today, the thing has remarkable graphics for a handheld, and a great collection of games. Love my gameboy and DS and all, but man did that thing impress me.Cheez wrote:

No idea, never looked up specs on it to be honest. It ran smoothly enough when I played it though, full color graphics, richer graphics, and this is in the time before the GBC.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

Where did I accuse anyone of being obsessive?
