I'm using metal_storm I was an hardcore user of the Nvidia client but I've stopped because the drivers for CUDA were not stable on my pc.
edit: I'm going to try 177,66 ill will try in the bf2s team, don't know if I stay with you guys.

I might join when they release official CUDA drivers for my card. My CPU fan is gonna be running full blast though probably if I run it on that and it's almost like an airplane at that rate.

I had a power outage tonight (first one in a decade), so I didn't really do any work. Everything is back to normal now and I'm folding again

The 177.35's seem to be pretty good. No stability problems and I've even been able to push my OC further. Haven't had a single problem with them yet. I'm not sure if this works, but you could either drop the clocks a little or limit the CPU usage so that the card only operates at something like 85%. That should keep them a bit cooler and therefore quieter.

As for the science question: Check out their science and papers page. The way I understood it, they have published a couple of groundbreaking papers and the research is used to develop drugs. When we will actually see working cures, I'm not sure. Remember, this sort of thing can take a long time until cures are fully developed, the necessary studies completed and the approved by the FDA.

I just remote desktop'ed into Freezers' PC. His box should hopefully be folding properly now. Also I swapped the standard client out for the SMP client on my quad and my server. Way better PPD but can't be run as a service and tends to sometimes throw EUEs.
