We'll at least if you connect to skype you could hear us talk and give you tips. Anything up type anything to me ingame.

Btw I personally suggest you start off with a Caldari Achura character like Timmmmaaaah here. Although some other races ships are better, with the attributes of an Achura character, you can get those ships progressively faster then anyone else.

It's in the overview options. Relative velocity to you is generally more usefull though. (transversal velocity I think, long time since I played)

I basically look out for anything thats MWDing towards me, so i lock on to that and 1 volley it first

maybe it's only free if you are in a faction. but you guys should just use eve voice.  go to settings and make sure it's enabled. and then right click on the corp chat tab if you are all in the same corp and click join audio. if not in a corp open a private chat and invite everyone in.  like I said it may not be free for everyone. but my corp started using it after we joined faction wars.  so as far as I know it is.  they were charging for it at one time.

I can help with in game advice if anyone is interested. I've been playing for about 5 years and have 2 chars with over 40 mill skill points. I've flown just about every ship other then cap ships.   I might have some T1 mods laying around that I could donate to the cause if anyone wants.

I don't mind mining. Its only a look see character anyway, I'll probably have a trade and combat character.

Do pure combat. Trade and mining is boring as shit. My corp actually kills people who does that =/ I'll set you all up with a new char when you get on skype.
